Intolerance, bigotry, and bias are robbing our communities of so much. Systemic racism and stereotyping by anyone, especially those who are sworn to protect and serve must be exposed, challenged and stopped. Unfortunately there are many who are afraid to speak out and express themselves due to intimidation, criticism and bullying. Let’s all work together to De-Fund the fear. Please help us shine a light on systemic racism in order to find ways to create solutions by using tolerance, empathy and education as our tools. Your tax-deductible donation will go a long way in the fight against racism.
Dear Friends,
TEARS: The Event Against Racism and Stereotyping needs your support. Our new series, #DefundTheFear is kicking off with an unprecedented and candid dialogue about systemic racism and law enforcement, featuring community leaders, activists and Chief of Police Michel Moore. The purpose is to find common ground, and to end the violence that is being delivered to African Americans and other visible minorities across our country, by law enforcement. We have tailored these episodes so that middle and high school children can watch and be inspired to be proactive and creative in their own struggles against racism, bias and intolerance..
We cannot do this without your support. Our series, which will premiere on April 3, will be followed by equally candid appearances by community leaders and celebrities known nationally, all speaking truth to power. We have tailored these episodes so that middle and high school children can watch and be inspired to be proactive and creative in their own struggles against racism.
